The Toubkal Circuit Trek consists of 6 days trekking in the Atlas Mountains, combining beautiful panoramas with the time to explore Berber villages and culture. From the first day of trekking you will be immersed...
Trekking Toubkal means one thing: standing on the highest point in Morocco and North Africa. And whether you have limited time or want to properly explore the High Atlas, we have a route build for you. Our jebel toubkal trek routes range from a fast-paced 2-day summit weekend to a 6-day circuit past Lake Ifni along breathtaking valleys and traditional berber villages.
Toubkal isn’t a technical climb, but altitude changes everything. Abdo and Lahcen know the mountain’s moods, which weather windows are safe for a summit push, how to pace a group for acclimatization, and when to turn back if conditions change. That judgment is the difference between a trek that goes smoothly and one that doesn’t.

Trekking Toubkal doesn’t require technical climbing skills, but it does demand a reasonable fitness level and a good attitude toward altitude. Most trekkers reach the summit successfully with proper pacing and acclimatization.
It can be, especially on the shorter routes where you gain elevation quickly in Morocco’s High Atlas. Our guides watch for early symptoms and build in proper acclimatization time, on the longer routes especially, so most trekkers summit without issues. If you’re prone to altitude sickness, the 3-day or 6-day options give your body more time to adjust than the 2-day route.
Our shortest Jebel Toubkal Trek is 2 days, ideal if you’re short on time. For better acclimatization and a richer experience, the 3-day or 6-day routes give you more time on the mountain.
Climbing Jebel Toubkal is possible throughout most of the year. Late spring through autumn offers the most straightforward conditions, winter ascents are possible but require snow experience and proper gear.
Yes. Most of our toubkal trek from Marrakech routes are designed for first-time trekkers, as long as you’re reasonably fit and prepared for altitude.
