Duration
7 Days

Somewhere in the High Atlas, an entire valley blooms pink for two weeks a year, and smells like it the rest of the time too. This Rose Valley Trek follows the Dades and M’Goun rivers through Gorges, kasbahs, and villages most itineraries skip entirely: a Morocco Rose Valley experience few travelers ever add to their list, seven days deep into a part of the country tour buses never reach.

Expect beautifully varied days on this route: river crossings, high mountain passes, and nights spent close to the villages you walk through, among the people who actually live here. Six to eight hours of walking is typical, with real elevation gain built into most days.
